BIO

It starts with rich melodies and a trappy rhythm. Then the vocals kick in as DFW-based

artist Chaz Gaveit takes listeners on a journey. Combining his quick wit and vivid storytelling

with honest emotion, his music finds understanding during life’s deepest moments. Writing for

the lost people, he meets audiences where they’re at, allowing them to see themselves in the

lyrics. Speaking on themes like hustle, love, and loss, it’s hip-hop designed to make you feel

something. Ambitious and persistent, Chaz Gaveit puts it all into his work, guided by one

principle: never leave anything in the tank.

Raised in the March Street neighborhood of Nawf Dallas, Texas, Chaz Gaveit was always

the kid with headphones on. Encouraged by a friend, he began writing original songs as a

teenager, gradually teaching himself the craft. He started as an independent artist, recording his

work in a home studio and sharing it online through social media. Without a plan for promotion

or growth, years slipped away with music on the back burner. After a brief hiatus, fate redirected

Chaz through a chance meeting with a new friend and vocalist. He challenged Chaz to

collaborate on a song together, a project that stoked the embers of creativity and reignited his

passion. In October of 2025, Chaz officially returned to music, as purpose and opportunity

collided.

What elevates Chaz, separating him from the average artist today, is his wide range.

Inspired by Texas legends Chamillionaire and Paul Wall, he’s developed a sound that is fresh and

original, yet unmistakably Southern. Chaz writes songs for every mood, shifting between high-

energy club bangers, downtempo motivational rap anthems, and heartfelt R&B ballads. He’s

performed across the Dallas-Fort Worth region and in industry hotspots, like Atlanta. He has

opened for Moneybagg Yo during a Juneteenth celebration, appeared on the lineup at Something

in the Mountains Festival alongside DaBaby, and at Summer Fest in New York with Scar Lip.

Fueled by a strong work ethic, Chaz is lining up his calendar with more shows and new

music. He is currently preparing the release of his anticipated single, “Heartstrings,” an

emotional track that forced Chaz to step out of his comfort zone to accomplish that distinct

sound. It forced him to fully express himself, the culmination of everything he’s been building

towards sonically.

A spiritual man, Chaz Gaveit views music as a gift that needed to be nurtured. God did

not give him this gift to take for granted. Instead, it is given to be shared. Chaz writes every lyric

himself, a gift he offers back to his listeners. He is encouraging them to walk that thin, narrow

line past adversity, because what’s on the other side is greater than what’s behind you. The name

is a promise and a reminder: Chaz gives everything and walks away knowing he Gaveit.
